Dare to Imagine

When it comes to art and fiction, what should be forbidden? What themes and topics should never be presented?

I write fiction and illustrate the covers. The themes and topics become words and pictures. Most of them are tame… but some of them are extreme.

Nothing I write or render is meant to shock or offend anyone. I take no pleasure in displeasing other people. I am sincere, however. My sincerity may shock or offend.

I am an artist. I refuse to compromise my art. I shall write and render what I am inspired to write or render.

People tell me they control their dreams. I would never do such a thing. There is nothing to learn from a controlled dream. I instead watch and listen. I write and illustrate the same way, and for the same reason.

My novel The Goddess of Self is a survival horror about a little girl threatened by monsters who command armies of little girls. The villains want to eat her… or worse. The child heroine kills baddies, mostly the other little girls.

My Black Death series of books is about two black women who serial kill young white women… for the fun of it. The killers are not only the protagonists, but heroines. They save the city from villains who command armies of white girls.

My pending novel Sorcerer of the Realm is about a world where the Confederacy won the War Between the States and became the Empire of the Golden Circle. The Confederates join forces with the Nazis, assuring white supremacy.

The best art is sexy and the best fiction is violent. Neither should be vulgar, of course. It is not art if not artfully written and rendered.

Children as the Heroes and Villains

Our favorite fiction has always been horror and action-adventure. They are quite often both. The stories are usually about people killing people. If the victims are sympathetic, the genre is horror. If they are the antagonists, it is action-adventure. If both, it is both.

When children are the heroes and or the villains it is typically in something meant for children. Even if meant to be taken seriously, it is only by the targeted demographic. Adults are expected to find it silly. It is not taken seriously by the adults who make it.

Sometimes, though rarely, children are the heroes and or villains in fiction written for adults. These children kill. As heroes, they slay monsters or monstrous humans. As villains, they murder people.

There are popular examples of children as heroes…

Anakin Skywalker (The Phantom Menace 1999), Harry Potter (Harry Potter books and movies), Atreyu (The NeverEnding Story 1984) and Charlie McGee (Firestarter 1984).

There are popular examples of children as villains…

Damien Thorn (The Omen 1976), Rhoda Kenneth (The Bad Seed 1956), Henry Evans (The Good Son 1993), Brandon Bryer (Brightburn 2019) and the Gatlin children (Children of the Corn 1984).

I write fiction, action-adventure and horror specifically. My heroes and villains are usually adults… but not always.

It is easy to make a child the hero. He is “good” and we are comfortable with good children. His victims are “bad” and we dislike bad people. If they are monsters, we are entirely comfortable with them being slain.

It is difficult to make a child the villain. We are uncomfortable with the idea of a child being evil. We rationalize that he is ignorant of his crimes, thus, innocent. If we are denied this rationalization, if we are forced to acknowledge that he knows what he is doing… and enjoys doing it… we are especially horrified. It is as if innocence itself has turned against us.

Babes in the Woods

Sexual fantasies are typically nasty thoughts about other people. Mine are ideas for stories. I sublimate my thoughts and feelings into creative endeavors. I turn them into art and fiction.

I wrote a novella about two sisters and their cute friend. The sisters are big and black. Their friend is small and white… and a redhead.

The sisters have a hobby: They murder young white women. They do not torture their victims. They simply strangle them or break their necks or knock their heads together. They strip the bodies and donate the clothes to charity.

Three sisters are the villains. They are wicked witches. They lure the redhead into a mysterious fog and kidnap her. They mean to sacrifice her on the night of a blood moon to revive their own youth.

The two black women venture into the fog to rescue their friend. They slaughter their way through droves of enchanted white girls to do so. These girls are uniformed in a white T-shirt with a red handprint on the bosom. They wear nothing else, not even shoes. Their weapon is a dildo that shoots glowing bolts.

The premise and particulars are utterly ridiculous. The story is erotica and action-adventure. Weird, yes, but such is the quality of dreams.

Senior Leader Kess

I am writing a novel about a magician who falls in love with a psychic. The magician is not a prestidigitator: He is a scientist and his science is sorcery. The psychic is naturally telepathic and telekinetic.

The magician explains that he is like a sailboat and his lover is like a motorboat. He is powerless but can make use of powerful forces. She is powerful but limited to what is innate.

The magician is a realist. The psychic is an idealist. He is Arnold Kess. She is Mary Ziegler.

Their world is like our own… but very different. The history and cultures are familiar, but not the same. Significant people are still significant, but in accordance with the differences of the alternate reality.

Arnold was a soldier until he was discharged for his racist views. He became a National Socialist and joined the SS.

Mary was a single mother with a biracial daughter. She worked for a living until moving into the home of Arnold Kess. He accepted her daughter, Faith Ziegler, despite his racism. He explained that “even inferior populations have superior specimens.” The man and woman spawn a daughter of their own, Elsa Kess, whom they raise as the sister of the older child.

Arnold participates in Action T4, a campaign to “euthanize” the disabled. Mary has visions of the helpless being murdered, many of them children. She confronts Arnold about it and he not only admits what he is doing, but unabashed. Mary takes her daughters and leaves Arnold, leaving him a note. He weeps as he reads her message, but lets her go. He makes no effort to take his daughter away from her, believing a mother is the most important person in a child’s life.

Riots erupt as the National Socialists act to remove “sub-humans” from their country. Mary and Elsa get separated from Faith. The mother hides the younger daughter and tells her to wait. Elsa is found by the SS and is returned to her father.

Years pass.

Elsa is raised by her father and becomes his apprentice. He becomes Senior Leader Kess and is given command of the 13th SS Air Assault Battalion. Elsa adamantly pesters him to let her serve under his command, arguing that as his apprentice, she is perfect for the job. He eventually relents and on her sixteenth birthday, she is accepted into the SS, despite Himmler’s reluctance.

Faith Ziegler is psychic, like her mother, but differently. The daughter is physically augmented by her powers rather than having the ability to move things with her mind. The mother and daughter become freedom fighters against white supremacy.

The novel is stories about a troubled family. Faith still loves Arnold as her father, and he hesitates to kill her. Elsa hates her mother, out of jealousy, and tries to kill her. Arnold wants Mary back but Mary refuses to condone his murderous actions.

I imagine magic versus psychic and without taking a side. I consider how they are alike and different. I do believe both are real, but as mysteries.

What if the Confederacy won the War Between the States and became the Empire of the Golden Circle, according to plan?

The novel is a drama. It is about its characters. I am writing it for another reason, however. I am fascinated by the idea of the Confederacy and the 3rd Reich as contemporaries. Both entities were capable militarily but lacked the population, industry and resources to prevail. What if they had each other? The odds would still be against them… but not so much.

Armed and Uniformed Damsels in Distress

Young women as helpless is universally sexy, and always has been. Its classical context is the damsel in distress. It is the cringing and screaming victims in horror movies. It is the idea of girls bound and gagged.

Female warriors are a sexual fantasy. They are the dominatrix as a combatant. They are the heroines of legend and fiction.

My fancy is a strange mix. It is female warriors as helpless victims. They are the damsel in distress as the nameless baddies. They cringe and scream as a monstrous hero looms over them.

My interest is sexual fantasy, not wishful thinking. I am aroused by the idea of armed and uniformed young women as helpless victims. I would never want the girls in my reality serving evil or being killed, however.

NO PROBLEM!

I sublimate my unrealistic thoughts and feelings. I turn them into books and illustrate the covers.

My fancy is uncommon… but not really. It is simply two distinct yet related interests as one and the same.

My Books 2023

So far this year, as of November 20, 2023, I have written three books. I illustrated the covers and created the title font. I have written much more and designed other covers and created another title font. It is the work I finished that matters. All the others are pending, if ever to be finished at all.

BLACK DEATH...

Three novellas written. They are a series but as independent stories. Their theme is two big and black women serial killing young white women. The murderous fun becomes heroic when the villains are introduced. The antagonists command armies of uniformed white women.

I have written as many words for another project. It is already a novella and short stories but is not yet even one book. I have illustrated two covers.

It may seem that the books I have finished are… risqué. Their theme is tame compared to the other project of this year.

SORCERER OF THE REALM...

Senior Leader Kess commands the 13th SS Air Assault Battalion. His moniker is “the Sorcerer” but he is actually a sorcerer. Junior Assault Leader Kess is his daughter and apprentice. She is “the Enchantress” and is actually an enchantress. She serves alongside him on missions to cleanse the world of sub-humans, antisocial parasites and useless eaters.

Oh, the stories are worse than all that. The daughter is in love with her father… and murders her mother out of jealousy, much to the chagrin of her father. The world is like our own… but different. The Confederacy won the War Between the States. Japan rules the Far East. The Nazis take over Europe.

My work does not lend itself to flippant interpretation. I cannot be shamed by sanctimony. My themes may seem extreme, but only because people are insincere. They edit their own thoughts and repress their own feelings. They expect everyone else to do the same.

The big black women murdering young white women is violent erotica, not social commentary. The dystopian world of fascist empires is the setting of grimdark action-adventure, not advocacy. I write fiction to be fiction, not imaginary non-fiction.

Enjoy.

Sexy Sentries

My favorite thing to imagine is the unceremonious killing of clueless guards by an intruder or escapee. I generally prefer the victims to be female foot soldiers of villainy.

Why?

I did not choose my interest. I happened upon it while watching television and movies. I read it in comic books. I was sexually aroused by the easy killing of sentries. My formative inspirations were male or robot victims, so you know.

This all developed during my childhood. It started years before puberty. I was attracted to useless guards before I was to girls. I imagined myself as such guards.

I played the easy victims with friends. An older and bigger boy snatched me into a choke-hold from behind. I struggled feebly. I am still aroused by the memory.

As I matured I fancied role-playing the killer. A girl played the sentry. I gave her a toy gun to hold. I would snatch her over the mouth from behind and she would sink to the floor. I “killed” her over and over and over again. I played the same game with a little boy. Apparently I was bisexual until puberty set me straight.

I am now middle-aged. The fancy of my childhood has become my specialty as a writer, artist and game designer. I have never played “silencing the sentry” since adulthood. I instead reminisce as I write or render my everlasting delight.

Creators of Worlds

If our reality was my fiction, speech and writing would not be languages, disease would be unheard of and weapons of mass-destruction would be obsolete.

You, as a fictional character, would be unaware these changes. You would assume that how things are is how they should be, even the things you dislike. I know this because that is how you are now.

Creations are bound to Creation, in every way and on every level. Every thought and feeling is within the system as part of it. This is why many creations assume that the Universe itself is God.

You can imagine realities of your own. You can create worlds and people. You can customize the physics. These imagined realities are fantasies. If you tell them or write them, they become fiction.

You are free to use God’s ideas in your own work. You are allowed to change them however you wish. You have his blessing to do so.

I write fiction. It is my basis of comparison for understanding God. I appreciate reality because of it. I sympathize with its Creator.

Good and Evil

The evidence of right and wrong is cause and effect. There is no proof of good and evil. They must be assumed.

Our existence as physical creatures is mathematical. Our reality is a formula of countless variables. We are added into the formula when conceived and subtracted when we die. We, ourselves are variables. We influence the formula but as part of it. We are calculated by the mathematician.

Our existence as spiritual creatures is from within. Our reality is entirely personal. It begins when we are conceived and never ends, even if we die. We are shaped by our choices. We decide our own fate, though not on our own terms. We are judged by our source.

Our well-being as physical creatures is a matter of right and wrong. Our fate is decided by cause and effect. We thrive when things are right and languish or perish when things are wrong.

Our well-being as spiritual creatures is a matter of good and evil. Our fate is decided by our choices, regardless of reasons. We thrive when we are good and languish when we are evil, regardless of the world around us.

We cannot prove good and evil because it is immaterial. It is relevant, but not as tangible reality. It is within.

Scary Inspiration

October 31st is Halloween in my country, the United States of America. It is the day we celebrate the thrill of horror without being horrified.

I love Halloween. Sure, the wicked can ruin it with nasty pranks, but the wicked ruin everything. Yes, it has a dark history, but such is history. The occasion itself is harmless fun.

I am a writer of fiction. Halloween is the holiday that inspires me most. The scary themes lend themselves to storytelling. They began as storytelling, actually. Unlike the other holidays, which are very specific, Halloween is generalized. It is the celebration of thrills for their own sake. The best fiction is thrilling.

[Once a year every year, each member of my creative group is challenged to make something scary or a parody of scary as a Halloween event. October 28, 2023 was our 20th annual Halloween Challenge.]

Make it Real

What is your favorite thing to imagine? Is it something you hope for in your real life? Not me. My favorite thing to imagine is the easy killing of clueless guards. It has been my favorite since childhood. It was and is sexier to me than anything else.

When I was a little boy, I fancied myself the sentry. I enjoyed playing the easy victim. As I grew up, I played the killer. It was fun either way.

It is useless to imagine unless you do so to create. I write books and illustrate the covers. I have turned my fancy into literature and art.

You can imagine being rich or getting married or whatever else but unless you turn the thought into action, it is a brain fart. Like a fart, it may make you feel better, but it does stink.

My imagination is not a plan. It is daydreams I turn into stories and pictures. The idea imagined is not what I hope for. The books and illustrations are the objective.

Bother to make something of what you imagine, whether literally or artistically. Have something REAL to show for it.

Worthy or Not

The value of human life is measured as if money. The higher denominations are worth more than lower denominations: Aristocrats were worth more than peasants, for example. Assuming we are all of equal value, the loss of lives is worse if many than few.

In truth, one life can be invaluable and many lives worthless. The death of a man can be worse than the death of a nation. A single murder can be worse than a genocide.

The world measures humans collectively and materially. God measures humans individually and spiritually. The world does consider individuals, but as personifications of groups. God does consider collectives, but as groups of individual persons. These differences make all the difference. To the world, you are an extension of the world and shall be judged accordingly. To God, you make something of yourself or you are nothing, and shall be judged accordingly.

Your value is not a matter of opinion. Pride and prestige are irrelevant.

The meaning of life is not decided by the mortal and only human. The very idea that those who exist after the fact and are doomed to perish have a say is laughably ridiculous.

What is the meaning of life? That is decided by its source, and you are not its source. Your life is meaningful or meaningless by a measure you cannot tally. You are given a choice. What you decide shall decide your fate, but not on your terms.

The meaning of life is FRIENDSHIP. It means more to God than anything else. If you are his friend, you shall mean everything to him. If not, you shall mean nothing to him. By this standard your life shall be valuable or worthless.

Heroes or Antiheroes

My favorite fictional characters are the expendable foot soldiers of villainy. Their genre is action-adventure. Their part to play is to be easily and readily slain by heroes.

Action-adventure is not about my favorite characters. It is about heroes. The villains are supporting characters, even if main characters. If the villains are the protagonists, they are still the heroes, though as antiheroes.

Despite my fancy, I acknowledge that an action-adventure is not very good unless its heroes are interesting. The villains may be uninteresting, and often are, but if we love the protagonists, we love their story.

Of course it is a good idea to make the villains interesting, but such is a secondary concern. The heroes come first, and rightly so. The story is their story. It is immersive through their perspective.

Making the villains the protagonists does not change the basics of an action-adventure. It merely darkens the story, especially if the antagonists are virtuous. The nameless baddies are instead droves of policemen or legitimate soldiers.

The triumph of evil can gratify. We are shocked or grimly amused. It cannot satisfy, however. It is innately uninspiring. We are spiritual creatures, regardless of our sinful nature. We are numbed by the triumph of evil. We become bored of the cheap thrill.

There are three ways to make an action-adventure about the villains morally satisfying. The easiest is to vilify the heroes. This turns the story into the usual fare in the guise of something different. A harder way is to punish the protagonists for their villainy. The bias against them is obvious, however, making the story less believable. The hardest is to redeem the villains without changing them. Something about them must be good despite their evil. It must come naturally or else their story is the usual fare in the guise of something different.

My favorite characters are what they are whether baddies or good guys. They are the ordinary against the extraordinary. They are easily and readily slaughtered in droves. What to do if they are not baddies? Keep them anonymous: They are expendable as strangers. To make things easier for us, cover their eyes or faces. Focus on the perspective of the antiheroes.

An action-adventure is about heroes. It is a story about excellence. The morality of the heroes is irrelevant, so long as they are excellent. Their common victims are the common folk, whether as goons or not. These hapless characters set the standard of ordinary by which the extraordinary protagonists are measured.

Real or Imagined

I am a storyteller as a writer. I have written stories about elfin secret agents, little girls as the foot soldiers of villainy, armies of barefoot clone women and two black women who serial kill young white women. I am writing a novel about a Nazi sorcerer and his apprentice, his teenage daughter.

I have been asked why everything I write is weird. It is suggested I should try writing about normal things. I should fictionalize my own life or write a historical fiction. Many people tell me fiction is fake and I am knowledgeable, so I should write non-fiction.

I drew pictures before I wrote stories. I turned my daydreams into images. I imagined fantastic scenarios rather than wishful thinking. I enjoyed reading stories and was inspired to write my own.

We live in reality. What is the point of me writing about it? I would rather dream while awake as I do when I sleep. My thoughts are inward when I do so. I learn about myself by turning the dreams into images and stories.

Many people travel the world. They eat exotic foods. They learn different languages. They are nonentities in their own lives. They are sponges rather than people. I would rather be a person, and that means an individual.

I am not the world. I am myself. The world is only important because I live in it. It is unimportant otherwise.

Of course I live in a country and eat its food. I use its language to articulate thoughts. I am what I am regardless. Of course I am inspired by the world. The world itself is uninspiring, however. It is my imagination that makes things interesting. I use the skills I learn and the materials available but what I make is what I craft. The artistry is entirely mine.

I create. This is the difference between me and those who learn rather than imagine.

Breeds of Human

Before the Flood, the races of man were the lines of Cain (“Gain”), Abel (“Breath/Vapor”) and Seth (“Appointed”). The Flood left only the line of Seth through Noah (“Rest/Comfort”). The races of man became the lines of Shem (“Fame”), Ham (“Hot/Blackened”) and Japheth (“Extend/Beautiful”). Cush (“Black”), a son of Ham fathered the black race.

Shem is the ancestor of the Asians. Ham is the ancestor of the Africans. Japheth is the ancestor of the Europeans.

The line of Shem inhabited the Americas, only to be conquered by the line of Japheth. The line of Cush was brought in as slaves.

Every human being is related by blood, from Noah specifically. We are closer to the members of our race and even closer to members of our family.

The life of a creature is in the blood. The bloodlines do matter. They do not decide our individuality but they do relate us to other people. We look very much like our relatives for a reason. We are very much alike, inside and out.

The sons of Noah were brothers. They were family. Their children were cousins.

Humanity always begins as a family. It becomes races as it grows apart. Populations breed within themselves until becoming innately distinct from other populations.

The races are real. When a family becomes millions of people, it becomes a race.

A family is not what people look like. A race is no different in this regard. They are both distinctions of common ancestry. Their members may look alike… or not. Their blood relation is what it is regardless. Looking alike simply makes it obvious. Differences make it questionable.

Turn Left to Nowhere

Russia should be a constitutional monarchy of half a billion people by now. Alas, it became the Soviet Union and the death of millions. A genocidal invasion slaughtered millions more. The Russian Federation began as a dead empire and is becoming its zombie.

China should be a thriving democracy by now. An invasion slaughtered millions. Alas, China became the People’s Republic and the death of millions more. It yearns to crush the piece of it that is thriving without it.

There is no one person to blame for what happened to Russia or China. The emperors of both were cruel but never as cruel as the Communists. The power is always collective regardless.

Both Russia and China have legitimate grievances. Their countries were devastated and their people slaughtered by foreigners. Both Russia and China did the same to their own countries and people, however. Their self-righteous indignation is shameless hypocrisy.

The West is to blame?

If not for the West, Germany and Japan would have conquered Russia and China. Instead of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic there would be the east of the Greater Germanic Realm and the west of the Empire of Great Japan. Russia and China would no longer exist.

Communism is to blame.

The French Revolution was communist, though it called itself “enlightenment.” It was a reign of terror until replaced by the fascism of Napoleon. Sure you can argue semantics, but the gist is what it is, and gist is the truth of things.

The West is dying. The greed of its capitalism assures the rise of its socialism. The plutocracy shall seize ownership of everything in the name of the people… and we shall suffer its reign of terror.

Would the world really be worse had the Axis powers won? I am starting to wonder.

Thriving in Obscurity

I write books and illustrate the covers. I create the title fonts. I compose music. I wonder if my work shall ever become famous. I hope so.

The best story ever written is no different than blank pages if never read. The best art is no different than a blank canvas if never seen. The best music is no different than silence if never heard.

Is my work the best?

I assume my fiction is excellent. I sincerely believe it is better than most classics. My opinion is irrelevant, however. My work is unknown. So long as it languishes in obscurity, it is unimportant.

I write every book as if it is sure to be noticed by the whole world. I make it ready to be read by everyone.

My interest in fame is an interest in influence, not fortune. Of course I would be glad to be enriched by my hard work. I would rather inspire than profit, however. I have much to say and I want everyone to hear it. I want to hear what everyone else has to say, both the praise and the complaints. I want to see what I write, illustrate and compose from the perspectives of other people.

Jesus mentioned, “A prophet is not without honor, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.” I know what he meant. My friends and family are the least interested in what I create. They could not “find the time” to listen to a two minute piece of music I composed, though I gave them all a copy for their convenience.

It is most likely that I shall fade away and my work with me. Such is typically the fate of the mortal and only human. It is possible, though unlikely, that my work shall thrive after my passing. I may yet become famous. My work may yet inspire the world.

I write, illustrate and compose. I shall not stop. My creativity was a labor of love from the beginning. It began with no thought of fame or fortune. I imagined and art brought what I imagined to fruition. I had something to show for my daydreams. I still do. I always shall.

Untrue

Throughout all of history, history is propaganda. It vilifies or glorifies according to agenda. The common folk are to remember the past in a way that legitimizes those in power. History changes as power shifts.

The fiction of today is like the legends of old. It is about reality but as fantasy. It may be propaganda but cannot thrive unless the common folk enjoy it. The stories must be entertaining, regardless of their message.

I distrust anything historical or scientific. They are political first and foremost. My first question is, “Why do they want me to believe this?” Who are “they?” you may ask. “They” call themselves history and science. “They” are actually people and people are untrustworthy.

I prefer legends to history. I would rather enjoy a fantasy than learn a lie.

Entertainment is more than gratification. It is the things that energize us. We are thrilled or amused and invigorated accordingly.

Those in power bore us with their spouting of nonsense. They claim that we should disbelieve our own eyes and instead trust their supposed facts. They have “experts” to “confirm” their claims: More strangers telling us to disbelieve our own eyes. I am not so stupid.

The world is at it was and shall always be. So be it. I still have the legends. I still have fiction. These things are being corrupted, but I still have my favorites. I write and illustrate my own fiction. I share it. The uninspiring nonsense of the mighty shall not prevail.

True Story

A story can gratify whether good or evil prevails. It cannot satisfy unless goodness prevails. This is not a matter of preference. It is a spiritual fact. Those who favor the triumph of evil are doomed to be dissatisfied. Their instant gratifications wane to numbness.

It is commonly assumed that goodness is a lack of evil: People are “good” unless they “do” this or that, blah, blah, blah. The assumption is untrue.

Evil is a lack of goodness: People are evil unless they do what is right of their own volition, no matter what. They must realize their own potential by their own efforts.

Every nonentity is evil. Their very insignificance is a sin. They deserve to die for no other reason than they do not deserve to live. Their lives are in vain, squandered by them.

The expendable characters in fiction are true to life. They are most people. You are probably one of them. You have my sympathies.. but not really.

Girl Bosses and Baddies

Female warriors are not really a thing in war, with very few exceptions. The women who fight are not supposed to, more often than not. Female infantry are typically used as police and border guards rather than as combat troops. Female partisans are a thing when children and the elderly are also.

The idea of female warriors is traditionally symbolic rather than actual. The “woman” is a goddess or “the motherland” or the like.

The Amazons of Classical Mythology were female warriors. They were an entire nation of such. They were also antagonists readily slaughtered by heroes.

A heroine is the ultimate female warrior, and always has been. Joan of Arc as the legend is the perfect example. She is the nurturer as the protector. The archetype at its best is maternal in its appeal, womanly not girlish.

Joan la Pucelle is Joan of Arc as the villain in Shakespeare. She can outfight most men, but as a witch. She is the seductress but as a warrior and a virgin. She is the feminine mystique as a thing to be feared… and overcome.

The Amazons with names were typically formidable and could only be defeated by heroes. The nameless Amazons were slaughtered in droves. Those not killed were taken as spoils of war: sexually enslaved.

Since the Amazons, women are seldom imagined as the cannon-fodder. They are used as such, but only when too many men have been lost. Expendable women do not inspire like Joan of Arc or her dark side version, Joan la Pucelle. They are too… normal. Like all creatures mortal and only human, they are disposable nonentities to those in power. We can relate to them, but that is the problem.

We love the superhuman heroine. We are fascinated by her villainous version. A story is especially interesting if both are in it, especially if they are rivals. The Japanese already know this. The idea is used by them quite often.

An action-adventure story is more than the heroes and villainous bosses. It is also droves of common folk. Many of these are the foot soldiers of villainy. Are these lowliest of the baddies more interesting for being men or monsters? What if they are sexy women instead?

The female warrior is many things, all of them sexy. I am mindful of this as a writer of fiction.

The Most Popular Genre

A fiction is figments imagined as things and people. The story is sequences of arrangement that make the figments seem real and alive. It is all an illusion we willingly allow ourselves to believe. We do so for the fun of it.

ACTION-ADVENTURE

The action is usually a chase or combat. The adventure is usually a quest or an escape.

A hero is typically the protagonist. A villain is typically the antagonist. The roles can be reversed. If the story is from the villain’s perspective, the hero is probably vilified.

Monsters are common enemies. They are usually feral. If they are people of a sort, they are villains. When a monster is a protagonist, he is a hero, even if as a sympathetic villain.

Ordinary people typically abound in the world of an action-adventure. They are the plentiful victims of monsters and villains. They are the expendable goons of the villains. They are the animated props of locales such as cities or fortresses.

The mechanics of action-adventure are not the appeal of the genre. The thrills they produce are. Everything about the fiction must thrill us. Everything else is either supplementary or extraneous.

Danger is thrilling. Violence is thrilling. Sexuality is thrilling. These are all aspects of action-adventure accordingly.

I write books and illustrate the covers. The genre is usually action-adventure. My horror stories are usually survival horror, a subgenre of action-adventure. My work is dramatic. It is meaningful. Most of all, it must be thrilling.

My Inspired Fancy

I grew up watching television. My favorite scenes were the unceremonious killing of unimportant characters. There was no blood and guts. The victims winced and dropped.

The killers were usually monsters or villains. The victims were normal people. The killings were impersonal and casual. They were easy… and inconsequential. The hero saved the day. The droves of hapless normal people made no difference: They did not matter.

My favorite victims were young, uniformed and armed. They were specialized in the use of force… yet proved helpless victims. The hero or group of heroes were the only ones who could match the monster or villain.

My fancy was especially gratifying when the killer was the hero and the victims were the nameless baddies. This was the same idea but the moral alignment was reversed. Everything else remained the same. The expendable baddies being normal people was better than them being robots or monsters. I did love it when the hero was a monster.

I watched movies. I read books and comic books. I played games. The unceremonious killing of unimportant characters were my favorite moments in all of them.

I write books and illustrate the covers. My fancy is a major theme in my work. It was and is my inspiration to be a writer and illustrator.

Just One

A human being is a person, an individual. Humanity is impersonal; families, tribes, nations, empires and races. It is generations. It is languages. It is religions. It is male and female.

God grieved in his heart and repented he made man upon the earth.

Individuals are sacrificed in the feuds of families and in the wars of tribes, nations and empires. The races dislike themselves and other races. The old exploit the young and the young forsake the old. People associate with those they have little in common with other than language… and shun those they have much in common with other than language. What should be spiritual is worldly instead, and divides rather than unites. Men dominate women and women subvert men.

Humanity is an abject failure.

A human being is a lonely creature. He loses himself in the crowd, whether it be his family or tribe or nation or empire or race. He explains himself as his generation. He speaks a language with nothing to say. His religion is what he believes, not what he lives. His sex is all about sex, and nothing more.

A human being must transcend his humanity. He shall languish otherwise, whether in vanity or despair. As a man he must be dauntless and as a woman he must be nurturing. His religion must be truth-- and his way of life accordingly. He must speak the truth, regardless of language, and for all to hear. His generation is his moment and he shall not squander it. He is faithful to the empire he lives in, and is loyal to his nation, tribe and family. He stands out in the crowd, for he is truly an individual. He takes personal initiative to do what is right, as the friend of all who would be friendly.

Pride shall not avail you. Losing yourself in one crowd or another renders you a nonentity. No matter your herd, you shall be a lamb gathered for the slaughter.

Of all the countless human beings ever made or to be made, a mere twenty-four shall be individuals in the presence of God. Everyone else gets filed away or thrown away.

Take care!

Nuclear Weapons or Worse

If the atomic bomb had never been developed, the Cold War would have been waged for years instead of decades. It would have escalated into Word War III. The German Army would be reactivated and many of the same men who fought against the Soviet Union would do so again, but alongside the British and Americans.

The USSR would lose, but not easily. Ravaged Europe would be ravaged all the more. The millions of dead would become millions more. If the West pressed into Russia, the devastated country would be destroyed.

The world would be hardened by the endless warfare. Cruelty would be normalized. Everything at every level would be decided by force.

The atomic bomb was developed. It has delayed World War III, but not indefinitely. That war shall be waged, and ultimately with nuclear weapons. The world shall be ravaged into a wasteland and most people shall die.

Humanity developed the atomic bomb instead of the time machine.

Why the one and not the other? Of course those who fancy themselves wise can ramble reasons on end. They are wrong. The reason is much simpler than their small and narrow minds can comprehend.

Nuclear weapons are meant to destroy civilization… but not yet. They shall temper the warmongering of the world till the Moment of Truth. Imagination and creativity shall thrive in the meantime.

A time machine would disrupt the meantime… so is simply not allowed. The hours have already been decided and are not to be changed. Mind you, the wicked would do more harm with a time machine than they ever could with an atomic bomb.

Ugly is the New Beautiful

There is a recent trend in the Western mainstream to desexualize women. They are not to be sexy in movies, shows, games or advertisements.

I am disinterested in desexualized women. They are boring aspects of the culture unless young and comely. No, I do not think the same of men in the mainstream. MEN and WOMEN are different and I hold them to different standards accordingly.

My disinterest is not a choice. It is natural. Women are sexy or uninteresting. It is unnatural to be otherwise. Of course there are the exceptions… but not really. We are especially proud of our mothers and sisters if they are sexy. Women are especially proud of themselves if sexy.

My favorite genre as a reader, viewer, player and writer of fiction is action-adventure. The hero is the heart of the story. The women decide his greatness.

A hero is supposed to be virile. His heroics are not enough. No matter his prowess, if women do not find him irresistibly attractive, we do not respect him. The damsel in distress must want him. This is why Han Solo was greater than Luke Skywalker, though Luke was the greater warrior.

The idea of desexualizing women is uninspired thus uninspiring. It is a bad idea accordingly, especially as a criterion for things that must inspire to be relevant: art, music, dance and fiction.

Woman

I fancy women. They are sexy to me. Their sexiness is not merely their form. It is their voices, mannerisms and quirks.

The same person is a little girl then a woman then an old woman. She is very different as these three things. I am fascinated by this.

I have looked at old women and imagined them as young, knowing they once were. They were silly when little. They were sensual when adults. They are grim in their later years, for better or worse.

Every old woman was once a young woman and every young woman was once a little girl. Not every little girl grows up, however, and not every young woman grows old.

What is a “woman” in the spiritual sense? It is not her youth. It is not her maturity. It is not her sexuality, since many “women” perish before such a thing develops or they continue on when such a thing is no longer relevant.

Woman is Man as a female. She is his femininity as a person. Everything about her is in the nature of Man, but as its own creature.

There shall be neither male nor female in the new heaven and the new earth. Humans shall be like the angels in this regard. Like the angels, they shall be feminine or masculine. It shall be a matter of personality rather than anatomy. WHO a woman is shall define her, not WHAT she is. That is also why there shall be neither Greek nor Jew.

Artful Living

Sometimes I feel inspired and writing or rendering is easy. Sometimes I am uninspired and writing or rendering proves difficult. Sometimes I am inspired at first but the work becomes grueling and I am disheartened.

I create as a matter of principle, whether I am in the mood to do so or not.

I write books and illustrate the covers. I create the title fonts. I compose music and design games. I create memes. I have painted and sculpted. I have acted on stage or for an audio-drama. I have directed short plays and an audio-drama. I sing. I try to dance. When I was a child, I made toys and costumes.

I am an artist for the sake of the art. It was never to make money… but I need money. I have bills to pay and groceries to buy.

My jobs are not my life. They are to provide for what is my life. I am an artist… and my wages pay for the art.

I am not rich. I am not famous. By the unwritten rules of this world, I am a failure, even as an artist. My art is worthless unless I can sell it. It is bad unless many people proclaim otherwise.

My art is as it began: My imagination as creativity. It is what it was always meant to be: What I imagine as something real.

Imagination is fruitless without creativity and creativity is spiritless without imagination. I do not fall short in either regard. I bear spirited fruit. Though I languish in obscurity, it is only as a mortal man. As an artist, I am thriving.

Mindful Freedom

You do not think for yourself unless you have thoughts of your own.

The mindless can be educated. They fancy themselves wise by learning what they are told to know and thinking what they are told to think.

See what you see and hear what you hear. Do not think. Merely observe. Notice rather than conclude. You shall realize the truth when it becomes obvious.

You are not your memories. You are not your opinions. You are your actions. What you do is who you are.

The world shall measure you by your wealth, power and intellect. God shall judge you by your faith, diligence and sincerity.

A thought is not your own if it is learned. It must be yours from the beginning. No one tells you what this or that means. Your conclusion is not suggested. You see what you see. You hear what you hear. You conclude accordingly.

Of course it is good to learn from others! You are easy to brainwash if you do not have a firm foundation of your own, however. You must bother to think for yourself… or a mastermind shall do it for you.

In the Likeness of God

The world thrives because of the few who imagine and create. It languishes because of the many who do not.

An evil man who imagines and creates does more good than does a supposedly good man who is unimaginative. The supposedly good man may make things, but products he did not imagine. He is simply a machine of meat. He is nothing without the creator to create what he copies.

Humanity is a species of the many as people because of the few.

God favors the imaginative who create what they imagine. He may grant wealth and power to the unworthy but these are not blessings within. He blesses the hearts and minds of the creators, not with happiness, but with inspiration. Even if he curses such a one with an early death, he blesses that the death shall not be in vain. It shall inspire, even as tragedy.

God is the Artist. Creation began as words but when he said “Let there be light” it was illustrated. The figments of his thoughts became shapes and colors. His feelings gave them life.

The soul is the animating agent of the human species. It is the breath of the one who imagined all that began. It is the life of the one who created from the beginning.

Unless you are an angel or a demon, it is in you to imagine and create. If you fail in this regard, then you are squandering your very essence.

Hell on Earth

I am hated for impersonal reasons. I am blamed for things I did not do. I am expected to be selfless by those who are selfish.

The reasons are insincere, always. When I am hated for my race, religion, nationality or sex it is because the haters want something… not because I did anything wrong. The grievances are excuses, whether legitimate or not.

EVIL is never good because of a greater evil. The sins of another do not justify your own.

JEALOUSY never justifies. On the contrary: It motivated the first murder.

Right and wrong are not actually matters of good and evil. If you are wronged you have a right to do something about it… but you shall be judged regardless. The merciful shall be spared. The merciless shall be damned.

God is love. The wicked are hateful. The Spirit is friendship. The wicked are unfriendly. The Word is truth. The wicked are liars.

I am hated by the hateful, mistreated by the unfriendly and slandered by liars. We all are. It is why our world is miserable. Those other reasons have nothing to do with it.

Bringing Imagination to Light

Artists have always had to contend with sanctimony. This is only a problem because art can be kept out of the mainstream. It can be hidden from view. Art unseen is no different than never made.

I can see and hear whatever I imagine. I cannot show it unless I turn it into art. There is no point in making art if never allowed to show it, since I can imagine whatever I imagine without it.

The sanctimonious have always been dubious of anything sexual, religious or political. The sanctimony is inconsistent, however. What is perverted, blasphemous or subversive at one time or in one region may be wholesome, reverent and progressive in another.

Many artists aggravate the problem. They offend deliberately. Their art is insulting rather than inspiring. They turn the tide of the mainstream against freedom of expression.

As an artist, I imagine. I show what I imagine by writing it as words and rendering it as images. My themes are sexual because sexuality energizes my fantasies. They are religious because my belief that life is meaningful beyond the sum of its parts inspires me. They are political because art is social if shared and politics shapes society.

As an artist, my art is tasteful, secular and apolitical. The erotica is artful rather than vulgar. The spirituality is demonstrated rather than preached. The politics are nuanced rather than touted. Though I understand tact allows me into the mainstream, I have a better reason: I would rather inspire than offend.

The Source

God is the Artist. Creation is his Art. I do not mean these things figuratively but literally. When you understand this, you shall know why God allows evil and suffering.

I hear the rhetorical blasphemy, “Where did God come from?” The answer is obvious… but a remark in the guise of a question is insincere.

I shall pretend to answer the false question by answering it truthfully: GOD IS THE SOURCE.

You do not understand? The obvious is beyond your comprehension?

A DERIVATIVE IS NOT THE SOURCE.

Are you still confused? Seriously?

If God is the source and a derivative is not the source then God did not come from anything but himself, by definition. Anything before him would be God instead… unless something comes before that. We know for a fact that there is always a beginning. To reach the very source, you must find the very beginning... something that always existed.

Take heed that time and sequence are derivative. We know this for a fact. There is no present without a past and there is no future without a present. There is no reaction without an action and no effect without a cause.

Why allow evil and suffering?

Why not? You are evil. You cause suffering. If you don’t like these things, then stop.

Death Imagined

Context is everything.

Death is inarguably a bad thing… but is inspiring if someone dies heroically. Death is a good thing… if it ends suffering… or is the end of a wicked life. Death is amusing… if uneventful and inconsequential.

We dream and daydream. What we imagine is our reality on the inside. We turn it into stories with words and images.

Death is a major theme in our fiction. It is the thrill of the horror and action-adventure genres alike. It is the sadness of a drama or the tragedy of a love story.

The significance of a death is the life that is ending.

People perish in droves and their demise is but a headline or a statistic. One person dies and everyone mourns. WHO dies is most important. WHY and HOW are secondary.

If a cause of death is impersonal, then it is either a simple misfortune or the victim is a nonentity. It must be personal to be significant. It is meaningless otherwise.

The people involved are what give a situation context. Their will and actions are the cause and effect. The situation is a happenstance otherwise, even if death.

Peace is Friendly

Wars are fought between people who would otherwise be friends… but they speak a different language or have a different religion. They may speak the same language and practice the same religion but their leaders are opposing factions.

Wars are fought by those who do not want to fight. They must because their home is invaded or they are conscripted.

War is not the problem. It is the result of problems. It is not because people are aggressive but rather because they are selfish. The aggression is after the fact, always.

The few compel the many to war, but the many are to blame, since the power of the few is the many. As individuals, the leaders are only as big and strong as their followers, except by their authority.

Unlike storms and earthquakes, war is deliberate. People decide to kill other people. They fancy themselves righteous, of course; blaming the victims for the mass-murder.

If you are selfish, war is your fault.

Politics has few players and many pieces. War is a game and the common folk are expendable. Even the important pieces may be sacrificed. The players play to win… and are more likely to die if they lose than their pieces are. TAKE HEED: There is never peace for our sake. It is only because the mighty fear for their own lives.

If you are friendly, war is not your fault.

You are not friendly because you smile and flatter. The treacherous do that. You are not friendly because you look out for your own. Even the warmongers can do that. You are not friendly because you forsake your own in the interest of others. That is betrayal.

Be blind and deaf to the highfalutin so as to see and hear in all sincerity. Judge yourself with no one else in mind. If there is peace within, you are peaceful. If not, you are indeed the problem, no matter who or what is to blame. Solve the problem, not with activism, but as an individual living among others.

Mortal Trinity

When you are a child, the world is new and anything is possible. When you are an adult, the world is familiar but limited by harsh reality. When you are elderly, the world is changing and the end of you is near.

Fascinating how the same person is different people as the years go by. The similarities accentuate the differences.

Unlike mortal humans, the immortal angels are never children or elderly. They are adults from the beginning and do not end.

God created the angels with the Holy Spirit in mind. Like the Spirit, they would be true to what they are, no matter what. They would be powerful, relentless and immutable.

God created humanity with himself in mind. Like him, they would be curious and whimsical. They would be imaginative, creative and introspective.

The Holy Spirit is not merely powerful. He is all power. There is no power without him. The power of God is the Spirit. With this in mind, God made angels more powerful than humans.

The stages of life are based on the Trinity. Childhood was inspired by the innocence of the Spirit. Elderly was inspired by the wisdom of the Father. Adulthood was inspired by the Son, who is the Spirit and the Father as one and the same.

Dealing with harsh reality is the responsibility of the ADULT, since HE alone is wise and strong enough to do so. This was inspired by the life of Jesus.

Demons are because of the sins of angels, but would be impossible if not for the will of God.  That they were spawned of sin in itself is meaningful. God wronged the Spirit by humanizing him. This is because the Spirit was and is everything unto itself. Jesus was the Spirit brought to life, when Jesus was baptized. The demons as creations of God were inspired by his very own mortal humanity.

The “duality” of the universe is not God and the Devil. It is the righteousness of the Father and the goodness of the Spirit: FLOW and BALANCE.

The created did not create itself. It can only evolve or devolve or adapt or fail to adapt within the system provided. Every aspect of Creation reflects its Creator. The right and wrong alike, the good and evil alike are all from God.

The Unsung Villains

The action-adventure genre has always been humanity’s favorite, with horror as a close second and as horror-survival, the same thing.

Heroes and villains are the main characters of an action-adventure. The mentor, the damsel in distress and the sidekick are the hero’s traditional associates. The underboss, the seductress and droves of goons are traditionally the villain’s.

Unless an action-adventure is made specifically for children, characters are traditionally prone to die. It makes the action meaningful and the adventure especially thrilling.

Traditionally…

The mentor is prone to die when the hero has outgrown him. The damsel in distress is prone to be imperiled but with the understanding that she shall be rescued. The sidekick is not to die, and if young, is the hero’s successor.

Killing the villain is the final action that ends the adventure. The underboss is typically killed just before the final boss fight. The seductress either dies redeeming herself for love of the hero or is killed by the damsel in distress after rescue. The lowly goons are slaughtered with pathetic ease until the climactic boss fights.

The lowly goons are the least important characters… within the story. They are not unimportant as aspects of the fiction, however. Their deaths are not to be mourned. On the contrary: Their doom is typically inglorious so as to grimly amuse us.

The prowess of a hero cannot be measured by a boss fight. A standard of ordinary must be set. The lowly goons, especially as the anonymous cannon-fodder, set this standard. This is why these unimportant characters are actually important. They give the action of the adventure an objective basis of comparison.
