If our reality was my fiction, speech and writing would not be languages, disease would be unheard of and weapons of mass-destruction would be obsolete.
You, as a fictional character, would be unaware these changes. You would assume that how things are is how they should be, even the things you dislike. I know this because that is how you are now.
Creations are bound to Creation, in every way and on every level. Every thought and feeling is within the system as part of it. This is why many creations assume that the Universe itself is God.
You can imagine realities of your own. You can create worlds and people. You can customize the physics. These imagined realities are fantasies. If you tell them or write them, they become fiction.
You are free to use God’s ideas in your own work. You are allowed to change them however you wish. You have his blessing to do so.
I write fiction. It is my basis of comparison for
understanding God. I appreciate reality because of it. I sympathize with its
Creator.
Humans compare everything to themselves. This is because they were made in someone else's image. To imagine beyond that would be truly amazing .
ReplyDeleteImpossible, actually. God himself could not imagine beyond himself. It was not until Jesus was baptized that he could... and that changed EVERYTHING.
DeleteAh, well said on all fronts. My comment would just be your blog. You already said it all so well.
ReplyDeleteYou as an author are a creator of worlds. You are doing the right thing.
DeleteA creation is not the source of anything, but The Source provides us with the means to imagine and create our own fictional worlds. Not only does God give use the means but he expects us to use it, that is The Way.
ReplyDeleteYes. We were made in the image and LIKENESS of God to act accordingly.
