The evidence of right and wrong is cause and effect. There is no proof of good and evil. They must be assumed.
Our existence as physical creatures is mathematical. Our reality is a formula of countless variables. We are added into the formula when conceived and subtracted when we die. We, ourselves are variables. We influence the formula but as part of it. We are calculated by the mathematician.
Our existence as spiritual creatures is from within. Our reality is entirely personal. It begins when we are conceived and never ends, even if we die. We are shaped by our choices. We decide our own fate, though not on our own terms. We are judged by our source.
Our well-being as physical creatures is a matter of right and wrong. Our fate is decided by cause and effect. We thrive when things are right and languish or perish when things are wrong.
Our well-being as spiritual creatures is a matter of good and evil. Our fate is decided by our choices, regardless of reasons. We thrive when we are good and languish when we are evil, regardless of the world around us.
We cannot prove good and evil because it is immaterial.
It is relevant, but not as tangible reality. It is within.
Animals are neither good nor evil. They do what they were made to do. Human beings were made for so much more.
ReplyDeleteYes, but when humans choose to be animals, they are evil.
DeleteA rich man is spiritually starved if he does not thrive beyond the worldly. In the same respect a poor man who imagines and creates thrives in spirit. When a man is starved spiritually there is hunger that can only be sated by doing good. No matter how many riches they build up in the world or drugs they take, they are empty until they find and follow The Way.
ReplyDeleteTOTALLY true! The world of entropy is the world of the doomed. We must strive for eternal things, the heavenly.
DeleteI could have sworn I replied to this. I think Blogger deleted it or something. Ugh, I can't remember what I said so I am just gonna move on.
ReplyDeleteI thought you did as well. Weird.
