CAPITALISM is better than SOCIALISM… until it becomes PLUTOCRACY. At that point, they are the same thing: The many are ruled by a few. What does it matter if the rulers are politicians or merchants? If they control what we need, they control our lives.
Socialists may be elected. Capitalists are empowered by purchases. The one is chosen by votes and the other enriched by what we are willing to pay for. The problem is not a problem until the choices that are our own become theirs. At that point they choose for us… but in their own interests. We become their slaves, for we have lost our say in any matter.
FASCISM is better than COMMUNISM… though both are socialist. Both are murderous. The fascists discriminate in their killing. The communists ultimately do not. Fascism may enrich its people, even if at the expense of other people. Communism impoverishes everyone.
The proponents of every ideology are self-righteous. Though capitalists are greedy, they tout their system as prosperous. Though fascists are oppressive, they fancy their system as law and order. Though communists are murderous, they celebrate their indiscriminate killing as “fairness,” which it is.
The rulers of the world are evil, whether capitalists or socialists. They are the selfish, disloyal and disobedient who demand our selfless loyalty and obedience. They all come to power by the will of the people, mind you. The capitalists are empowered by the lusts of the common folk. The fascists are empowered by the fear of the common folk. The Communists are empowered by the laziness of the common folk. The power is always from THE PEOPLE, the ruled and rulers alike.
Perhaps you are not to blame. You still live in a world full of those who are to blame. Alas, the very world is democratic indeed, for the fate of every generation is decided by its majority.
Government is decided by the people, until those they put in power take that ability away from them. Once that happens, it takes a great deal of effort to get it back. The rulers of this world are patient because they need to be.
ReplyDeleteThe rulers of this world also know that the common folk live for instant gratification, have narrow minds and easily forget. I see and hear celebrities supposedly agree with us, and this is supposed to be significant. We, the lowly, are conditioned to dismiss our own eyes and ears till what we see and hear is confirmed from those who rule us.
DeleteIt is disheartening to think about how the god of this world is ALWAYS democratically elected. Even with the best intentions political ideologies are always corrupted and lead to oppression. The problem is that most people are evil, their apathy is a poison that makes even the best idea become destructive to those under its rule. BUT The Way is Truth that sets us free, if we free ourselves from this world it can have no sway over us.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. The apathy and its evil are so pervasive in this world, even the doctrines of Christ are corrupted into Satanic things. We must look away from the world to find truth, justice and freedom. We must look to the actual source.
DeleteThe world is a democracy of stupid people who don't think. That unfortunately is the very worst it can be. This is why we need the rare individuals to pull out out once in a while.
